Pati šį leidinį išvydau galbūt gruodį - tuomet jis kainavo 14 litų. Galbūt nebūčiau pamačiusi, tačiau akį patraukė viršelis - ant jo puikavosi Ralph Fiennes (aktorius, vaidinęs filmuose "Raudonasis drakonas", "Šindlerio sąrašas", "Anglas ligonis", o man labiausiai mylimiausias iš "Hario Poterio"). Kaip minėjau, kaina buvo didelė, tad žurnalas taip ir liko gulėti lentynoje.
Po kelių mėnesių vėl užtikau jį lentynoje. Pamačiau, kodėl taip yra - šis žurnalas leidžiamas ketvirčiais, t.y. kas tris mėnesius. Ir jo kaina per tą laiką smarkiai pasikeitė - žurnalas kainavo 6,90 Lt! Nieko nesvarsčiusi įsimečiau jį į pirkinių krepšelį (prieš tai gerai apžiūrėjusi, ar akys tikrai manęs neapgauna ir čia tas pats nuostabus žurnalas už kitą kainą). Tiek pat jis kainuoja ir dabar, ir tikiuosi, kad ateityje nebrangs.
Kuo man šis žurnalas yra puikus: jame galite rasti straipsnių visokiomis temomis. Kaip leidėjai sako, apie meną, stilių, maistą, vyną, automobilius, keliones ir bet ką, kas po saule. Intelligent Life yra įdomus tuo, kad jame nėra jokių pletkų, nepasakojama, kas su kuo susituokė ar kokius apatinius (ne)nešioja. Straipsnius rašo žurnalistai iš viso pasaulio, galima rasti ir psichologų parašytų darbų (šiame, vasaros, numeryje yra labai įdomus straipsnis apie tai, kas lemia mūsų pasirinkimus). Be to, nuotraukos šiame leidinyje yra tokios pat puikios, kaip ir visa kita, kas jame publikuojama.
Be galo džiaugiuosi, kad Lietuvoje leidžiamas šis žurnalas. Kol kas jis man beveik vienintelis vertas dėmesio. Gaila, kad išeina taip retai, tačiau turbūt tai daro jį dar geresnį, kadangi straipsniai kruopščiai atrinkinėjami.
