Tai ką.. Savo 2013-ųjų knygų iššūkį skelbiu atidarytą!! Jį pradėjau su gerbiamo pono Čekuolio knyga, kurią gavau dovanų gimtadienio proga ir dar iki šiol buvau neperskaičiusi.. Iki knygų mugės liko mažiau nei savaitė, susizgribau, kad Čekuolis jau naują knygą parašė, o aš dar nei šios, nei Faktų neperskaičiusi. Žodžiu, gėda pelėda, todėl reikėjo švelninti padėtį.
Paties Algimanto pristatinėti, manau, nereikia. Jis visiems pažįstamas, jei ne iš laidų ir knygų, tai bent jau iš pasakojimų ir net legendų. Na, ta prasme, kad jeigu naktį po pagalve laikysi pasidėjęs Čekuolio nuotrauką, tai ryte atsikelsi su 10 balų padidėjusiu IQ :) Ir panašiai. Beje, ši legenda ir tėra tik legenda, arba mano IQ toks didelis, kad nebėra kur ir didėti.. :D
O apie ką ši knyga, tai irgi neįmanoma pasakyti. Na, kaip jūs papasakotumėt, apie ką yra publicistinių apžvalgų knyga? Tektų arba pateikti kiekvieno straipsnelio santrauką, arba nežinau. Čia mus ponas Čekuolis vėlgi supažindina su įvairiausiomis pasaulio aktualijomis, apie artimus (Rusija) ir tolimus (Japonija) kraštus pasakoja su lengva, taip jam būdinga ironija. Va ta ironija labiausiai ir pritraukia. Atrodo, daugelis nagrinėjamų problemų tikrai nėra aktualios eiliniam skaitytojui, tačiau pateikiamos taip, kad tik ir norisi skaityti. Dar ir dar.
